Jordan Webster is delighted to be joining Brian Switzer in the Instrumental Music Department at Carlmont. She earned her Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education from the Lawrence Conservatory of Music in Appleton, Wisconsin. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish from Lawrence University and a Master’s in Education from University of San Francisco.
Previously, Jordan was the full-time band and orchestra teacher at Ralston Middle School in Belmont from 2007-2020, helping to grow the program to over 400 musicians. Additionally, she is the director of the Chamber Players and Camerata Orchestras and the Summer Conservatory at Golden State Youth Orchestra. Jordan also served as the woodwind coach for Peninsula Youth Orchestra for 10 years.
She brings a passion for teaching music and is thrilled to be part of the Belmont-San Carlos-Redwood Shores music education community.
