November 6th, 2009
Attention Symphonic Band families, the start time of the Carlmont vs. Sequoia varsity football game on Friday, November 13 has been changed from 2:45 to 6:00.  Portable lighting will be brought in to enable a night game to be played at Carlmont for this rivalry game. All Symphonic Band members should arrive no later than 5:15 dressed in their new Carlmont Music t-shirts and sweat shirts. Hopefully this late start will enable more parents to attend the final home game of the year. The Carlmont Symphonic Band will be joined by 8th grade members of the Tierra Linda and Central Middle School bands for this game.

I hope to see you at the game,
--Mr. DaBaldo

Media Gallery Video streaming available
October 10th, 2009
Until now video files were fully downloaded into browser caches before starting to play which caused long waiting times for certain files. Now videos are streamed and start playing after about 10 seconds or when enough data is downloaded into a buffer. This has been successfully tested with Internet Explorer, Firefox and Google Chrome browsers. Low bandwidth users may have to pause playback to reach a large enough buffer level for a smooth playback experience.
