CAPA stands for Carlmont Advocates for Performing Arts.   CAPA is an association of Carlmont parents working with Mr. DaBaldo (Instrumental Music).  Other CAPA groups support Ms. Sagi-Tep (Vocal Music), Ms. Martin (Drama) and Ms. Secrist (Dance).  I look forward to working with Mr. DaBaldo and the many students making up Concert Band, Symphonic Band, Wind Ensemble, Intermediate Orchestra, Advanced Orchestra, and Jazz Ensemble, and also look forward to meeting and working with many of you this school year.  This is the second year for Mr. DaBaldo as Instrumental Music Teacher at Carlmont, and my fourth (and final) year as chair of Instrumental Music CAPA.

We request that each family register with CAPA this year. There is NO COST and NO OBLIGATION other than to fill out the attached survey and return it to us – send it to school with your student or via mail.  It is important to register so that we can communicate with all of you in a timely manner anytime volunteers are needed, or if there is an issue that pertains to the Performing Arts Department that you need to be aware of.
